You just described Cody, Wyoming.
The Cody Quad Center recreation complex, located on 13th street just north of the U.S. Post Office, features 105,000 square feet of recreation space under one roof. The 43,480-square foot Paul Stock Aquatic Center showcases a large wading pool, slide, hot tub, lap pool, diving area and a physical therapy pool.
Adjoining the pool complex is a 27,757-square foot recreation center with three basketball courts, two racquetball courts, suspended running/walking track, exercise machines and a variety of free weights. Meeting rooms, a daycare center, locker rooms, snack bar, televisions and computers are part of the amenities, as well.

Hours for the recreation center are Monday - Thursday, 5:30 a.m.-10 p.m., Friday, 5:30 a.m. - 8 p.m., Saturday 8 a.m.-6 p.m. and Sunday noon-6 p.m. Please check with the Recreation Center for pool hours. Non-resident passes for the pool and rec center are $10 per day for adults and $5 for children and students and special group rates are available. The Victor Riley Ice Arena and Community Events Center completes the complex, offering 33,336-square feet of space. The arena is an ice rink in the winter and a convention/special events venue during spring, summer and fall.Beck Lake Park, Cody Wyoming.
Just down the hill from the Cody Quad at the corner of 13th and Beck is the Cody Auditorium/Cody Club Room facility. The venerable auditorium has been the site for special events, trade shows and public meetings. Adjacent to the auditorium is the Cody Club Room, site of the Monday meetings of The Cody Club (the Cody Country Chamber of Commerce) and the Thursday gatherings of the Cody Rotary Club.
The City of Cody offers 22 well-groomed city and community parks scattered throughout the community and featuring everything from a band shell for weekly Concerts in the Park during July and August to climbing walls to tennis courts to picnic tables to playgrounds, basketball courts and restrooms. Beck Lake Park, near the Yellowstone Regional Airport, offers a large area of natural terrain for hiking and biking plus fishing and boating. The Paul Stock Nature Trail provides 1.5 miles of interpretive hiking/biking on dirt and gravel paths along the Shoshone River.
Newest addition to the Cody recreation scene is the Cody Skateboard Park in Mentock Park. The park features six bowls and is free to the public from 8 a.m. til dark. It has proved so popular the City of Cody plans to expand and add new features, using a design committee composed of young skateboarders!
