As Cody prepares for one of its most cherished holidays, we’re not just counting down the days to fireworks and festivities. We’re celebrating the spirit of who we are—a resilient, patriotic, and deeply connected community.

The Fourth of July is more than a holiday here. It’s a reflection of our history, a time to honor those who serve, and a chance to show the pride we feel in calling this incredible place home. From our Western roots to our entrepreneurial spirit, Cody stands tall as a symbol of American grit and grace.

Celebrating Our Businesses

Local businesses are the heartbeat of Cody, and during this patriotic season, they shine even brighter. Whether it’s a Main Street storefront decked in red, white, and blue or a family-owned restaurant preparing for the parade rush, every business contributes to the energy and excitement of this holiday.

We’re proud to serve Chamber members who embody the values of independence, hard work, and community service.

What Makes Cody’s Fourth So Special

Our celebration blends tradition and togetherness. The parade, the Stampede rodeo, the food, and of course, the fireworks—they’re more than events; they’re part of our community fabric. Families gather, neighbors reconnect, and visitors experience the authentic charm that makes Cody unforgettable.

This year, our parades carry extra heart with two meaningful themes. The Kiddy Parade theme, “Mommas, Let Your Babies Grow Up to Be Cowboys,” honors the dreams of our youngest residents and the roots they’re growing in this western community. The Main Parade theme, “My Heroes Have Always Been Cowboys,” is a powerful tribute to the spirit of the West, celebrating our local legends, ranchers, veterans, and everyday heroes who embody cowboy values of courage, resilience, and integrity.

The Chamber’s Role in the Festivities

At the Cody Country Chamber of Commerce, we believe in building bridges between community, commerce, and celebration. We work to amplify our members’ voices, support their participation in events, and help tell the stories that define us.

Whether it’s connecting you with where to shop, eat, or celebrate, or sharing behind-the-scenes peeks of what’s to come, we are your resource and your advocate.

We also join you in thanking the Cody Stampede Board and Parade Committees, as well as the Cody Fireworks Committee for the amazing experience they create for locals and visitors in Cody during Stampede week.  It truly is an Independence Day celebration to remember!

Let’s rally together and show the world why Cody is such a special place to live, work, and celebrate. This week is about more than just one day—it’s about community pride and the shared values that make us strong.

We’ll see you out there. Happy Independence Week, Cody!
