The Chamber of Commerce Committees

Each year many chamber members participate in the seven active committees of the Cody Country Chamber of Commerce. In addition to the committees listed here, the Chamber of Commerce coordinates task forces that meet on an as needed basis throughout the year to focus on issues of importance to the Cody business community.

Ambassadors
The Cody Country Chamber Ambassadors function as the good-will representatives for the Chamber of Commerce at appropriate functions, visit and welcome new businesses to the community, acknowledge and congratulate firms making improvements, changing locations or celebrating a significant milestone. The Ambassadors help to improve image of Cody Country as they exhibit true western hospitality.

Government Affairs Committee
The Government Affairs Committee is composed of volunteers representing various organizations, backgrounds and interests who work together to provide the leadership, planning, education and action necessary to develop and recommend issue positions to the Chamber Board and advocate issue positions in the interest  of the Cody Country Chamber of Commerce and our members within philosophical guidelines set by the Chamber Board of Directors.

Cody Events Committee
The Cody Events Committee (CEC) is a group of volunteers who coordinate community events.  It is their goal to provide quality events that promote Cody's unique cultural heritage.  These events have the added benefit of helping businesses and drawing out of town visitors.
