Why Join a Chamber of Commerce?

Research finds that consumers are more likely to do business with a company if it’s a member of their local chamber of commerce.

The Shapiro Group, Inc. and Market Street Services surveyed consumers and found that chamber membership brings credibility to your business.

If shoppers know that a small business is a member of the local chamber of commerce, then they are 44% more likely to think favorably of it. Not surprisingly, they are 63% more likely to purchase goods or services from the company as a result.

Create Networking Opportunities

Chambers maintain several committees to accomplish their goals. Serving on a committee provides both networking opportunities and professional leadership experience.

Committees in the Cody Chamber organize community holiday events as well as the Buffalo Bill Art Show & Sale, monitor government affairs, and more.

Find Customer Referrals

Every day, your local chamber gets calls from people and businesses looking for specific goods and services. We will always recommend our members first.

Not only that, but chamber members typically recommend other chamber members. Thus, all members are part of a strong referral network.

What's more, the Visitor Center attracts both locals and tourists alike, so all types of people will see your brochure or business card.
